IDENTIFIKASI KEARIFAN LOKAL KECAMATAN TAMBUSAI DARI SUDUT PEMBELAJARAN SAINS PADA PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL
AbstractThis study aims to determine the local wisdom that exists in the Tambusai District, to find out the local wisdom of the Tambusai District from the point of science learning and to find out the local wisdom of the Tambusai District from the point of view of science learning in contextual learning. This type of research is a survey while the method used is descriptive. The population of this study were 24 community leaders and 17 science teachers for junior high school/equivalent in Tambusai district and as samples were 10 community leaders and 5 science teachers for junior high school/equivalent in Tambusai district. Samples were obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques with interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The results showed that there were 46 local wisdoms in Tambusai District identified. Then the local wisdom of Tambusai District from the point of learning science, especially physics, there are as many as 28 local wisdoms. And the relationship between local wisdom in Tambusai District from the point of view of science learning in contextual learning is the adjustment of basic competencies (KD) for science subjects for junior high school/equivalent. Of the 46 local wisdoms found, there are 28 local wisdoms that contain the concept of science learning, especially physics material that is in accordance with the 10 basic science competencies of SMP/Equivalent that can be used in contextual learning.
