Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Currently the Covid-19 pandemic also threatens everyone, including maternal and neonatal. The number of people under surveillance in Rokan Hulu Regency in May 2020 was 6,225 with 36 patients under surveillance and 1 positive for Covid-19. Pregnant women are among the groups that are at risk of being exposed to the Covid-19 virus, because the condition during pregnancy the body is susceptible to diseases that can increase the risk of a bad pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to find out how pregnant women know about Covid-19 in Rambah Tengah Hilir Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. This type of research is descriptive with the research design used is cross sectional. The sample in the study was 50 pregnant women in the village of Rambah Tengah Hilir. The results of the study were 10 respondents (20.0%) in good category, 35 people (70.0%) in sufficient category and 5 people (10.0%) inadequate knowledge. His advice to health workers is that there is a need for counseling or providing health education to pregnant women in Rambah Village so that respondent's knowledge becomes better and Covid-19 disease can be avoided.
