Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there was an effect TPC learning model for mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi experimental, the population it is a class VIII junior hing school  2 Tambusai Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The sampling technique used is saturate sample technique, which means the population as well as the sample. Grade sample consisted of experimental class and control class,which applied tht experimental class learning model TPC while the control class applied convensional learningmodel.Instrumen used instrument test is test essay. Before the tests carried uot first teats at tested to analyze the validity, realibiliti,distinguishing feature and level of difficultyof the questions. After the test data obtained then data analysis to test the hypothesis. Prior to doing the tes the hypothesis, firs tested the prerequisite that the normality test and homogeneity test. Normality tes used liliefors test whose results both classed normally distributed samples, while the homogeneity test using the f test results are two classed of samples that have varians homogeneous, and the done hypothesis testing used t test its calculation results obtained t = 3,292 and table = 2,019 which means t hitung > t table at 5 % significance level, the hypothesis is accepted. Means no influence learning model Think Pair Check (TPC) to the learning outcomes of students of class VIII mathematics. Junior hing school 2 Tambusai Kabupaten Roakan Hulu
