FAKTOR-FAKTOR PEMBENTUK PARTISIPASI PETANI TERHADAP PROGRAM SISTEM PERTANIAN TERPADU PT. RAPP DI KABUPATEN PELALAWAN

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: 1) to measure the participation level of farmers towards the Integrated Farming System (IFS) program in Regency of Pelalawan. 2) To analyze the forming elements of farmers' participation towards the IFS program in Regency of Pelalawan. This research was done in Regency of Pelalawan that covers three subdistricts: Langgam, Pelalawan and Pangkalan Kerinci started from September 2015 and finished on June 2016. The methodology that is used in this research is Server. Sampling was done using Purposive Sampling under consideration that farmers as respondents are members of farmer group under training from PT. RAPP that receive IFS programme. The amount of respondents are 30 person from Padang Luas village, Sering Village and Kuala Terusan Village. Likert Scale method is used in data analysis. Results of the research show that: 1) farmers' participation level in Regency of Pelalawan can be categorized as "high". 2) Forming elements of participation that have strongest connection with participation level is opportunity. It is expected from PT. RAPP and government with related department to increase coordination in socialisation process of this IFS program in regency of Pelalawan so that farmers can actively participate in programs planning and this program will run according to the purpose.
