Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of labor (HKP) to women farmers in broccoli farming and to know the role of women farmers in contributing broccoli farming income to Putri Tranggulasi farmer groups. The study was conducted in Batur Village, Getasan District on 10 February 2018-10 March 2018 with 30 respondents who were members of Putri Tranggulasi farmer group. Data analysis was a descriptive census and a different test, namely t test value one sample t test with 95% convident interval. The results show that women farmers are in productive age. Education level is mostly graduated from junior high school, which is 47%. The average number of family members is 4 people. Most of the land planted with broccoli is 300-600 m2. The experience of farming is mostly 50% ranging from 10-20 years. The largest allocation of female farm labor in weeding activities. The contribution of female peasant laborers to all broccoli farming activities was 3.68 HKP and men were 5.27 HKP. The contribution of women farmers to broccoli farming income was 41.13% with a total of Rp 1.1633.295,10, - and men amounted to 58,87% with a total of Rp 1,664,860.74, - with a total income of Rp 2,828,155.84,-.
