Abstract

Kampar is a Regency, which has the second highest production of rubber plantations in Riau Province by digitally 71,883 tons and Kampar regency has 21 district that livelihood as a rubber farmer, one of the district in Kampar regency is a district of Kampar. The cost of farming is an expensive cause rubber farmer was only able to produce low-quality rubber. This research aims to (1) Analyzing the income of self-help rubber farmers who are members of the Joint Unit Cooperative (KUB) in Pulau Sarak village Kampar regncy district of Kampar, dan (2) Analyzing the level of efficiency of self-help rubber farmer farming in the Joint Unit Cooperative (KUB) in Pulau Sarak village Kampar district Kampar regency. The place of research in Pulau Sarak village Kampar district Kampar regency. The sampling technique was taken by the Census technique which numbered 20 people. In this study all farmers were incorporated into the Joint Unit Cooperative (KUB) taken as a sample, farmers who were sampled own 1 Ha land area and 15-30 years old plants were taken as samples. The results showed that the net income of rubber farmers was Rp. 11,756,987.10/ ha/year. The rubber farmer RCR value of 1.81 means that farming by self-help rubber farmers who are members of the Joint Unit Cooperative (KUB) in Pulau Sarak Village gains benefits and is said to be efficient because the RCR values obtained are large (one RCR> 1) .
