Abstract

This study aimed to know the income of pumpkin farming, analyze the factors that affect the income of organic chayote farming in Deles Village, Bawang District, Batang Regency, and determine whether the income of organic chayote farming in Deles Village, Bawang District is different than Batang Regency Minimum Wage. The method used in staging the sample of this study was a census by taking all the population in Deles Village, Bawang District, Batang Regency as many as 31 respondents. The research area was determined purposively or intentionally. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and one sample t-test. The multiple linear regression test equation is Y = - 2969039,369 + 67626845,004 X1 - 18388,189 X2 - 13594,979 X3 + 10587,991 X4 + 3619228,293 X5. The value of Sig. in F test is 0,000 <0,05 and it was concluded that the variable X, namely land area, number of seeds, number of labors, amount of manure and the amount of liquid fertilizer simultaneously are significant explainers of Y variable, namely income. The t-test partially shows that the variable of land area, number of seeds and fertilizers have a significant effect on income, while the labors and manure variables partially have no significant effect on income. The value of Adjusted R squared (R2) is 0.910. The value of Sig. (2-tailed) in the one sample test of 0.001 meant that there is a difference between chayote farmers' income and Batang Regency Minimum Wage.
