The purpose of this study was to identify whether the potential of leading economic sector of agriculture in Rokan Hulu District still can be improved and how much GRDP (gross regional domestic product) can be improved by maximizing the results of leading economic sector. The selected study site was Rokan Hulu District. Required data were the primary data and secondary data.Primary data collection technique used was multistage sampling.The first step was determining which areas will be the research sample.The selected area was Rambah Hilir sub District, because this sub district is one of the largest contributors of revenue Rokan Hulu District, there weresectors of oil palm, rubber and rice.References
