DAYA SAING KELAPA SAWIT DI KABUPATEN ROKAN HULU COMPETITIVENESS OF OIL PALM IN ROKAN HULU REGENCY

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  Competitiveness  of  Oil  Palm  in  Rokan  Hulu  Regency. Research areas defined intentionally, Kunto Darussalamsubdistrict. Research  carried  out for 8months.  Allegedly  the  competitiveness  of  oil  palm  poeple’s  farmers  is  lower  than  KKPA’s farmers.The  research  method  used  was  a  survey  method.  Method  of  sampling  was  purposivesampling.  Samples  were  taken  as many  as  30  samples  from  each  group  for  a  total  sample population  used  were  60  samples.  Required  data  were  primary  data  and  secondary  data.  Thecollected  data  were  analyzed  descriptively.  Data  analysis  is  production  efficiency  approach.Hypothesis  were  tested  using  two-sample  t-test  independent.The  results  showed  that  the efficiency of oil palm poeple’s farmers is lower than KKPA’s farmers. Chart efficiency patterns of poeple’s farmers tend fliktuatif pattern while KKPA’s farmers tends stable pattern. Based onthe  t  test  average  efficiency  farm  of  poeple’s  farmers  and   KKPA’s  farmers  is  significantly different.  This  shows  that  the  competitiveness  of  oil  palm  poeple’s  farmers  is  lower  thanKKPA’s farmers.
