Abstract

One  of  the  main  problems  in  the  cultivation  of  oil  palm  is  the  attack  of  disease. Stemrot diseaseis a disease thatattacks thepalmplantsto date, causing huge losses. Stem rot disease caused byGanoderma spp. if  therateof Ganoderma sppattackby  1%,thenlosses  couldreach morethanRp2trillionperyear, especially  ingardensthat  have  undergonereplantingseveraltimes. Therefore,to  suppress  thelevel  ofinfestationandthe  riskof  loss, shouldbe handledthewayformulatedmore  preciselyandeffectively.  This  Researchtoselection  andisolation ofbacterial agent antagonistslocalin Rokan  Hulusuppressstemrot  disease. The  results  ofexploratoryresearchconductedantagonisticbacterialagentsfromaround  theoil  palmplant  rootsacquiredbacterial strainsB6, B9, B3, B7, A7, A10, C1andC4. Thenhypersensitivitytestontobaccoplant  leaves, from the results  of injecting bacterial suspension swere performed showed bacteria B6, B9, B3, B7, A7, A10, C1 and C4 did not inducenecroticsymptomson the leaves oftobacco plants, andsubsequenttestfound that thebacteriagramB6, B9, B3, B7, A7, A10, C1andC4aregram-positive.
